Tottenham host Juventus in the Champions League, as they prepare to book a place in the quarterfinals.
Spurs overcame a disaster start in Turin three weeks ago to earn a 2-2 first-leg draw, putting them as favourites to qualify at the expense of a side who have reached two of the previous three finals.
Toby Alderweireld almost certainly out for Spurs with Federico Bernardeschi the same for the Old Lady but Jan Vertonghen and Gonzalo Higuain should be fit to both start. Full-back Serge Aurier is suspended for the last-16 tie, which is poised at 2-2 following Spurs’ dramatic comeback from two goals down in Turin last month
Juventus, who are sweating over the fitness of Gonzalo Higuain, and are just a point behind Serie A leaders Napoli with a game in hand after a 10th successive league win, will be without the former Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado, Federico Bernardeschi and Mario Mandzukic. However, the Old Lady are boosted with the return of starman Paulo Dybala.
Head to head
Tottenham had never met in a competitive fixture before the 2-2 draw in the first leg, though Spurs beat the Italians 2-0 at Wembley last summer in a pre-season friendly.
Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Lloris; Trippier, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Davies; Dier, Dembele; Eriksen, Alli, Son; Kane. Juventus (4-3-3): Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Chiellini, Benatia, Alex Sandro; Khedira, Pjanic, Matuidi; Asamoah, Costa, Higuain.
I expect both teams to score but we expect Juventus to win because of the experience they have.
