Man United set to pay Monaco if Anthony Martial scores

Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial joined Manchester United in 2015 from Monaco and has managed to score 24 league goals but his next league goal is the one everyone in Monaco is waiting for.

According to The Sun, on his signing, a clause was included in his contract that states that United has to pay AS Monaco £9m once Martial bags his 25th PL goal.

First and latest goals

Martial scored on his debut, after coming on from the bench in a thrilling 3-1 win against Liverpool at Old Trafford. His latest goal came in January against Burnley and since then, he has failed to score in his next four league appearances, before missing the dramatic 3-2 win against Crystal Palace on Monday.

The young French attacker is currently ruled out with an injury and has missed two league games so far.
