Chelsea is ahead of Premier League rivals Manchester United and Real Madrid in the race to sign Robert Lewandowski in the summer.
Lewandowski’s good form in Bayern Munich shirt has attracted interests from a host of clubs including Spanish giants Real Madrid. The Poland international, who has three years remaining in his contract, is expected to leave after changing his agent. The 29-year-old is now represented by super-agent Pini Zahavi and reports from Germany suggest that he might be on his way out and join Premier League.
The Blues are leading the chase and could beat Los Blancos who want him to replace Karim Benzema in the summer withhis signature. Manchester United are also believed to be chasing Lewandowski in a bid to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic who could be released at the end of the season.
The Polish frontman has scored 139 goals in four seasons with the Bundesliga giants since arriving from rivals Borussia Dortmund in 2014.
