Avicii The Swedish Superstar DJ Behind Some Of The Decade’s Biggest Hits Is Dead


Tim Bergling, better known by his stage name Avicii is Dead. The news about his death was announced on Friday.  He was a Swedish musician, DJ, remixer and record producer. His songs inlude “Hey Brother”, “Wake Me Up!”.

He scored two UK number one singles and had collaborated with artists including Madonna and Coldplay.

His publicist Diana Baron said on Friday the 20th of April :

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii.

“The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time.”

Avicii, best known for his singles Wake Me Up, Hey Brother and Levels, was found dead in Muscat, Oman.


Aged 28 years old. He headlined arenas, notched up billions of streams and worked with some of the biggest names in music, but suffered serious health problems and struggled with life on the road until his death.

He was considered a pioneer of contemporary electronic dance music and a rare DJ capable of a worldwide arena tour

The news of his death has left numerous of his fans and fellow musicians in deep shock

Meanwhile the sad news which broke the internet late afternoon on Friday the 20th of April has left fan describing the great talents,  while some were left in tears as narrated by iced out rain,  who wrote on how she saw the news on snapchat and wanted to confirm if it is true and upon getting an answer was left in tears.
