In this release of BUSINESS AND PLEASURE, we feature an interview of Port Harcourt based, Miss Peculiar Eleru Peters, a model who has worked hard to bring more dignity into a profession that has traditionally been all about being a fine girl.¬† As one of Nigeria’s most prominent beauty queens, Miss Peculiar was unable to grant us a video interview because of her very tight schedule. We therefore had to find a way to engage her on WhatsApp. Because you know when the desirable is unavailable, you have to improvise. This lady is certainly not your typical Naija babe wey dey find who go send am credit. Rather, we’re talking about a full blown babepreneur who has used her God given beauty in a decent, profitable and exemplary manner. So then, the chat interview started something like this:

After the thanks for a wholesome response and directing our questions in a new direction, that new direction yielded a profound observation about success…

How could we not agree with that remark about the importance of passion as you can see from the above. From there, the chat then revealed the existence if the MISS PERSONALITY beauty pageant. The name  says a lot. Beauty pageants have traditionally focused on judging and ranking physical qualities of the contestants. But one trend that should be strengthened are contests that promote personality traits, intelligence, and talent. By its name, the Miss Personality contest is clearly not all about physical curves but also learning curves. Information about terms and conditions for participation in the Miss Personality contest will be out soon. Please stay tuned. Miss Peters, thanks your time.
