Everton Vs Liverpool Plays Goalless Draw


Saturday EPL early game between Everton and Liverpool ended a goalless draw giving the both team an opportunity to share one point each.

The game which started at 13:30pm on Saturday the 7th day of April 2018, saw Liverpool key striker Mohamed Salah absent from the derby due to groin injury sustained during the last UEFA champions league played on Wednesday against Manchester City at Anfield.

M. Salah who scored the opening game on Wednesday champions League game at the 12 minutes to put Liverpool ahead of Manchester city was seen substituted at the 52nd minutes of the game due to groin injury.

The injury was a big concern against Saturday selection as Liverpool manager has to improvise in this regards. Although the Saturday EPL game was also an opportunity to feature some players who have not played for a very long period of time.

Danny Ings was given the opportunity to make his first EPL appearance since scoring against Everton at Godison in October 2015 during the last game in charge of former manager [ Brendan Rodgers].

Nathaniel Clyne also was not left out as he made his 1st EPL appearance since May 2017.
