Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic tipped to succeed Conte

Chelsea have reportedly added Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic to the shortlist of candidates to replace under-fire boss Antonio Conte.

English news outlet Daily Mail has claimed that a large section of Chelsea’s board is seriously considering to hand the ex-midfielder the top job on account of the tactician’s exploits with the Championship side, which have admittedly captured their attention.

The report further claims that Conte already has one foot out of the door and has lost the support of Chelsea’s management, especially after throwing in the towel against champions-elect Manchester City in their recent 1-0 defeat to the league leaders by using lackluster tactics.

Former Barcelona chief Luis Enrique is, however, still considered to be the favourite to succeed the Godfather, who looks set to return to Italy to manage either the national football team or Serie A greats Milan.
