Juventus plotting a £45m swoop for Hector Bellerin

Juventus are reportedly plotting a £45m swoop for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin.

British news outlet The Guardian has claimed that the Serie A giants, who have been heavily linked with the defender in the recent past, are planning to rekindle their interest in the Spaniard this summer.

The report further claims that Juve are hoping to use the problems that Arsenal is currently facing to their advantage to lure Bellerin to Turin since the 22-year-old, like any other football player, is keen on winning silverware – an outcome which seems highly unlikely at his current club.

Speculations also suggest that the exits of former teammates Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Manchester United and Liverpool respectively have made Bellerin open to seeking greener pastures elsewhere in order to establish himself as one of football’s premier defensive specialists.
