Nigerian Society of Engineers, Vicotria Island Branch Produces First Female Chairman

Engr. Rose Madaki, MNSE, becomes the 6th Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Vicotria Island (VI) Branch on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.

Engr. Rose, an Icon, Humbled Woman, Daughter of a Former Governor of Kaduna State, an Intelligent twin with three (3) different Master Degrees, breaks the record to be invested as the 1st Female Chairman of VI Branch (The Branch that makes the difference).

The well attended program was chaired by the President of the Society, Engr Adekunle Mokuolu, FNSE while the Director General, Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON), Engr Major General Bamidele Ogunkale was the Special Guest of Honour.

Also in attendance are the NSE Deputy President, Engr Babagana Mohammed, FNSE; President of Academy of Engineering in Nigeria, Engr V. Olu Maduka, FNSE, FAEng and her husband who was also a NSE Past President, Engr Vincent Maduka FNSE; NSE Past President, Engr I. Kaleel Inuwa FNSE, FAEng; Past President, Engr F.A. Ajayi, FNSE and APWEN President, Engr Felicia Agubata, MNSE.
