Just like roller coaster rides, marriage is one hectic, fun ride filled with twists and turns but most importantly, fulfilling. As much as most marriages today end in divorce, many are still spending billions to get in the circle.
1. Three years
Most people believe the honey moon phase in every marriage lasts only for three years. After these year together, couples become tired and almost uninspired to put in any more efforts. Contrary to this belief, research says, genuine couple who truly are committed get closer by the day. It is easier to become even closer, since all the weaknesses and flaws have been seen and can now be easily accepted. Love is even stronger than before. So, first three years are the happiest period of the marriage.
2. Five years
It is believed that after five years, a couple must have welcomed their first child or more depending on their values and beliefs. Within this time, they are experiencing a different type of partnership. The kid(s) are still young and require a lot of attention and care. It becomes a tad difficult for both parents to combine work, family and other important aspects of their lives. As a matter of fact, except they are both experts at parenting, which is unlikely, this is a tough period in every marriage.
3. Seven years
If the partners managed to stay together for five years, they have to overcome one more point. The seventh year of life together is the time when everything becomes a routine. There might be different issues connected with money, children and other things but none that should overwhelm two people who are determined to be together.
4. Ten years and beyond
This is the most difficult period of the marriage and if the couple has managed to go through it together, they will become a strong and happy family. To keep your family you should be very patient and wise. You should really love your soulmate and value them. Remember, that everything depends on you and your happy marriage is only in your hands.
